General Battery Care

 

Store battery in cool and dry area away from potential metal conductivity or electric current. 

Open package will accelerate the battery discharge rate even when not in use or never been used. Use only fresh battery.

Do not mix or mismatch old and new batteries in a device. Battery leakage may occur. Replace all batteries in a device at the same time.

Do not combine battery types such as alkaline, heavy duty or rechargeable within same device. Explosion or discharge may occur and cause serious injury/death.

Batteries should be removed from any device that will be stored for long periods of time.

Batteries should be stored in a cool, dry location. Avoid temperature extremes. Keep batteries in original package until you are ready to use them.

Batteries cannot deliver much power when they are cold. You may find that the flashlight kept in your car, in the middle of winter, casts a faint beam. Let the batteries warm up to normal temperature, and try them again before you decide to replace the batteries.

Carefully install batteries in the correct polarity direction ( + and -) per the device manufacturer’s instructions.

Do not leave battery powered devices switched “on” after the batteries are exhausted. Battery leakage may occur.

Remove batteries from any device that will be stored for long periods of time.

Store batteries in a cool, dry location. Avoid temperature extremes. Keep batteries in original package until you are ready to use them.

Do not use expired date battery. Dispose battery promptly.
